System Tracker (C#/PHP)
A custom system for tracking dynamic IP addresses (i.e. client office/home computers). The server is written in PHP, and the client program exists as a Windows Service written in C#.NET.
I created this system awhile back because quite often, clients would want me to be able to log in to their computer(s) remotely to fix problems. Since most of my clients are/were on dynamic IP addresses, I needed an easy way to keep track of them.
The server part of this system exists as a couple of PHP based web pages to record and display information with authentication. The client program is a Windows Service written in C#.NET, which periodically "checks in" with the server, reporting the computer network name and IP addresses.
